National High Blood Pressure Education Month

Did you know: That high blood pressure has no symptoms and often is referred as the “Silent Killer”. When left uncontrolled, it could lead to heart attack, stroke, and kidney failure.

Action Step of the Month: Do you know what your blood pressure is? If not, contact your health care provider or other trained professional and find out. If you do know your blood pressure numbers, but are not sure what it actually means, why it is so important, and what you can do and what are the recommended ranges, (click here) to find out these answers and additional important information.
