National Parks Exploration Walking Program

Dates:  Kick-Off, Oct. 4th; Late-Registration, Oct. 5th & 6th (Wednesday & Thursday in Cafeteria); Program Start Date, Oct. 10th (Monday), Program End Date/Wrap-Up, Dec. 15th

Description:  The National Parks Exploration Walking Program is a continuation of the 10-week pedometer-based Grand Canyon Walking Program. The Grand Canyon Walking Program was a success! Over 100 employees participated in the program and all together walked approximately 12,000 miles. They walked to the Grand Canyon and back again! For this program, considering it will be entering winter months, we want to maintain the mileage goals to an attainable 12,000 miles with potentially a slight increase. We have identified 19 National Parks that will guide the participants all across the United States. The parks and estimated mileage are listed below.
