Stair Climbing Program

Capital City Climb will be on-going program to increase physical activity among employees through stair climbing. The goal of the program is that each participant will climb the number of flights of stairs in Hartford 's 15 tallest buildings.

The Capital City Climb's purpose is:

  • To encourage employees to use the stairs instead of the elevator when traveling between floors during working hours
  • To be used as an exercise program for participants to use before or after work, during breaks, or during their lunch hour

Capital City Climb will make it easy for anyone to add physical activity into their daily schedule. Stairs are a convenient method of exercise that participants can access at any time and climb at their own pace.
